60 Second Intl. Film Festival – Islamabad Chapter

We are coming to Islamabad on the 13th of February! 60 Second Intl. Film Festival aims to provide a platform for budding and experienced film makers to express and showcase their work to the general public.

In order to make this event into a learning experience for the next generation, we have organized a photography and filmmaking workshop to show kids under 15 what life behind the lens is like. To maintain the level of interest of children, the workshops are going to be interactive and will concentrate on all the monotonous yet interesting aspects of the industry.

That is not all because we have a lot in store for adults as well. First and foremost we have arranged a panel discussion on Films for Social Change, where individuals shall participate and debate about how films can drive change in a society and influence young minds and raise awareness about issues we are currently facing in the world.

Following the panel discussion, will be an hour long open house on “Digital Security”- a discussion on making your digital identity more secure. Last but the most important part – the screening. We encouraged young filmmakers from all over the world to make 60 second long films that hold a moral lesson or have a deeper meaning and are beautifully made. After much deliberation, we carefully picked out the best of the best and these videos shall be screened in the grand hall at the end of the festival, thus being our grand finale and putting an end to a fun filled day.

This festival is going to be an amazing experience for all of you. So mark your calendars for the 13th of February, 2016 because this is definitely an event that you will not want to miss!
