60SIFF in collaboration with WWF has kicked off the first session of workshops in schools under the Green School Program in Karachi. The workshops are to empower students with the aptitude of highlighting issues regarding environment and nature through films. Students are being trained on how to make 60 second films through following a narrative by understanding the different phases of film making and storytelling. They are also being equipped with the basic technical knowledge of converting raw footage into final 60 second films through the use of easy-to-use software.
The workshops will enable students to make 60 second films for the 60 Second International Film Festival, in which those films will be added and judged in a separate category of environment & water, and the winners will be awarded accordingly.
Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more updates about the workshops.
